Groups interested in renting the Recreation Center for picnics or other events such as meetings, educational seminars, conventions, shows, etc. can reserve the facility by contacting Dickinson Parks and Recreation at 456-2074 (2004 Fairway St). The facility consists of two large classrooms and an arena which measures 140 ft x 120 ft with a seating capacity of 1,000. Rental rates are available hourly and daily with discounts for multiple day usage.
Leisure Park Walking Trail
Interested in walking, jogging, biking or blading? Stop at the Leisure Park around the Recreation Center. This 3/4 mile, ten foot wide asphalt loop is open to the general public for walking, jogging and any non-motorized vehicles. To help you enjoy your exercise, various benches have been located along the trail and newly planted trees have signs attached to them which identify the different tree and plant species.
