The West River Community Center is an 80,000 square foot facility built with plenty of modern amenitites and a "western edge" design that blends with the landscape of southwestern North Dakota. The program areas were designed to achieve not only a visual connection between spaces, but an openness that allows users to feel a sense of community. The facility maximizes the use of natural light by way of large windows. Designed with the philosophy that community centers should entertain, educate and promote health and well-being.

General Policies:

• The WRCC is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
• The WRCC is a smoke-free facility.
• All children 7 years old and under must be supervised by an individual 16 years of age or older.
• Profanity will not be tolerated in any area of the facility.

Access:
A daily fee is required for all non-member use and will be given a wristband in order to use areas of the building past the Control Desk.

Each member is required to present a valid WRCC user card at the Control Desk to gain access to the building. If you have forgotten your card you will only have access to the Basic Package areas (pools, gymnasiums, playground and track). After the fourth time a card is forgotten you will not be permitted to use the facility unless a new card is purchased for $5. In the event of a lost or destroyed card, a new card must be purchased for $5.

Locker Rooms:

• All facility users have access to the appropriate locker rooms and the family locker room.
• Patrons over the age of five must use the same-sex or family locker rooms.
• Rental locks are available at the control desk.
• Only those lockers rented for 3 months or annually may leave locks on overnight.
• WRCC staff reserve the right to remove any lock that remains overnight.

Towel Service

Beginning Monday, December 17, 2007 the West River Community Center will be adding a towel service as an optional service to those that are interested. This service would be paid by members who wish to utilize it similar to locker rental, tanning or child care.

• Each user would pay a fee for this service (see below)
• Members with this service will need to show their member card to receive a towel. Each member's card will indicate that they have paid.
• Members with the towel service will receive one towel each time they visit the facility.

Cost of the Towel Service:
Annual = $25/year, each additional family member $15/year
Daily = 50 cents add on to daily admission

*Purchase your towel service by December 17, 2007 and receive 2 weeks FREE. Annual towel service will renew January 1, 2009.
